Pre-Gamin’: All-Star Game (7:00 p.m. CT) – Broadcast Info, Rosters, Thread

Chicago Bulls

We are about to watch two Bulls play in the All-Star Game. Read that again. And again.

What a glorious sentence, right?

I can’t think of two better representatives for the organization than Zach LaVine and DeMar DeRozan. One player has battled through the organization’s lowest of lows to help the franchise return to prominence while the other went out of his way to commit to a team with no proven track record. These two have worked together to put Bulls basketball back on the national stage, and they are already a duo Bulls fans will never forget.

Broadcast Info

Team Durant at Team LeBron – 7:00 p.m. CT on TNT

An alternate will be available on TBS hosted by the Inside the NBA crew and Draymond Green.

Format and What is at Stake?

Each of the three quarters will be scored separately, and the winning team of each quarter will receive $100,000 for the charity of the captain’s choice. Then, heading into the fourth quarter, the scores will be added up and the two teams will play to a target score. That target score will be calculated by adding 24 points to the leading team’s total. For example, if Team LeBron is leading 80-75, both teams will play until someone reaches 104 points. The winner of the game will receive an additional $150,000.
