DeMar DeRozan Made an Awesome Appearance in the Newest NBA Lane Commercial

Remember that awesome NBA 75th Anniversary commercial released at the beginning of the season? You know, the one that featured Zach LaVine and a number of other NBA stars and legends on a street called NBA Lane? If not, how has living under that rock been? Do you get good cell reception down there?

Well, the league has released a brand new NBA Lane commercial for the upcoming playoffs, and DeMar DeRozan made quite the appearance.

Check it out:

After saying there is room for diehards and newcomers in this year’s playoffs, actor Anthony Anderson sends it over to DeRozan. The Bulls All-Star can be seen seated at a press conference in his City Edition warm-up. Then, he leans forward to make his goal clear: “It’s bringing Chicago back.”

The camera quickly zooms out to Cleveland Cavaliers All-Star Darius Garland, who tells DeRozan, “nah, we making The Land believe again.” BOOOOOO!!!

Is it silly for me to get super hyped over 10 seconds in a commercial? Eh, probably, especially when we remember how things have gone since the All-Star break. But it’s still been a breath of fresh air to see the Bulls well-represented across the NBA landscape this season! It’s been a while since we’ve seen that.
