We’ve got a pair of series tied at one-game-a-piece, while Stephen Curry and the Golden State Warriors look to push Nikola Jokić and the Nuggets to the brink of elimination tonight in Denver.
Memphis Grizzlies at Minnesota Timberwolves
Western Conference Quarter-Finals: Game 3
Anthony Edwards and the Minnesota Timberwolves landed the first punch on the Memphis Grizzlies. Still, Ja Morant responded in the way many expected, just missing a triple-double with 23 points, 10 assists, and 9 rebounds. Morant got plenty of help from his teammates, though, with six other Grizzlies scoring in double figures. Memphis now heads to Minnesota with the series tied at one-a-piece.

Dallas Mavericks at Utah Jazz
Western Conference Quarter-Finals: Game 3
With Luka Dončić making his return to the Mavericks lineup tonight, Dallas will get a considerable boost despite being seven-point dogs on the road, with the series shifting to Salt Lake City tonight.
In Dončić’s absence over the first two games of the series, Jalen Brunson shouldered the scoring load in a Game 2 victory scoring 41 points and logging 8 rebounds, 5 assists, and a pair of steals. He also drained six shots from long-range as the Mavericks evened up their series with Utah.

Golden State Warriors at Denver Nuggets
Western Conference Quarter-Finals: Game 3
The Warriors always seem to find another gear when they’re playing in the NBA Playoffs, and this year is no exception as they have come out cooking even with Stephen Curry coming off the bench as he works his way back from injury. Speaking of which, Curry looked plenty comfortable in Game 2, dropping 34 points on 12-of-17 shooting and tallying 4 assists while hitting five triples in the Warriors’ victory.
Nikola Jokić has carried the Nuggets all season, but he lost his cool as the frustration of Draymond Green’s suffocating defense got to him in Game 2. The reigning MVP was ultimately ejected down the stretch, and I think we can all agree that if Jokić can’t play at an MVP level, this series might not make it back to Golden State.
124.5 points per game through the first two games of the Playoffs? That's tough.
