The most interesting (surprising?) series of the opening round are back in action tonight, with the Grizzlies, Timberwolves, Suns, and Pelicans all jockeying for control of their series. Meanwhile, the Jimmy Butler-less Miami Heat will attempt to finish off the Atlanta Hawks tonight in South Beach.
Atlanta Hawks at Miami Heat
Eastern Conference Quarter-Finals: Game 5
This afternoon, the Miami Heat announced that Jimmy Butler (right knee inflammation) would miss tonight’s game with the Atlanta Hawks.
Miami dominated Atlanta in Game 4, and now they’re just one win away from eliminating Trae Young and the Hawks, and they have the opportunity to do so tonight at home. Trae Young and the Atlanta offense have struggled to get cooking against Miami’s elite defense, but the Heat have had no such problem.
UPDATE: Jimmy Butler (right knee inflammation) has been ruled out of tonight's game.
Gabe Vincent (toe) is available. https://t.co/9ihTQh84GM

Minnesota Timberwolves at Memphis Grizzlies
Western Conference Quarter-Finals: Game 5
The Memphis Grizzlies won 56 games this season. The Minnesota Timberwolves barely squeaked into the playoffs through the play-in tournament. Somehow, these two polar opposites have combined to give us one of the most entertaining NBA playoffs’ opening-round series.

New Orleans Pelicans at Phoenix Suns
Western Conference Quarter-Finals: Game 5
Somehow, like the Timberwolves and Grizzlies series, one of the Western Conference’s juggernauts has been given a run for their money by a play-in team in the opening round. Phoenix won 64 games during the regular season, but they haven’t had an answer for Brandon Ingram and the pesky Pelicans. Even without Devin Booker in the lineup, the Suns will look to take advantage of being on their home court and take control of this series with New Orleans tonight.
After swatting an NBA postseason-record tying three 3-pointers in the @PelicansNBA's Game 4 win, take a look back at Herb Jones’ top blocks on triples from his rookie season!
