We’ve got a light slate of games in the NBA Playoffs tonight with just two games on the schedule. We’ll look at the Nuggets-Warriors game here, and we’ll cover the Bulls-Bucks in our traditional Pre-Gamin’ post.
Denver Nuggets at Golden State Warriors
Western Conference Quarter-Finals: Game 5
Nikola Jokić willed the Denver Nuggets to a Game 4 victory with a 37-point performance to save Denver’s season for at least one more game. That one more game comes tonight in San Francisco, where the crowd will be rocking as the Warriors look to close out the series and move on.
Stephen Curry has been, well, Stephen Curry in this series. Klay Thompson leads all shooters in the playoffs with 21 made three-pointers through four games, and Draymond Green has frustrated the reigning MVP Nikola Jokić repeatedly. Oh, and Jordan Poole has played like Steph Curry lite in this series. There’s really little doubt in my mind that the Warriors will cap off the gentleman’s sweep tonight and send the Nuggets packing.
