Despite trimming a 26-point Miami lead to just one late in Saturday night’s contest, the Celtics came up on the short side of a narrow contest and now trail the Miami Heat two games to one in the Eastern Conference Finals. The good news for the Celtics and fans hoping to see this series continue going back and forth until the end is that The Ringer‘s updated odds machine has the most likely outcome of the series (at 23 percent) as the Celtics win in seven games.
For what it’s worth, if Miami can steal another road victory tonight, the Celtics’ chances of winning the series will drop to just 17 percent per The Ringer‘s odds machine. Tonight’s contest will be a big one for both sides.
Bam helped the @MiamiHEAT take a 2-1 lead with 31 PTS, 10 REB, 6 AST, 4 STL in Game 3.
The @celtics look to even it up 2-2 with a W tonight.
