Watch the Moment Dalen Terry Became a Chicago Bull

Dalen Terry saw his dream become a reality on Thursday night.

The Chicago Bulls selected the 19-year-old wing out of Arizona with the No. 18th pick in the 2022 NBA Draft, and Lina Washington of 12 News was there to capture the moment it all went down.

The smile on his face says it all.

Terry met with reporters shortly after the announcement, saying that “probably like 100″ people were in attendance to watch Adam Silver read his name. He also couldn’t have sounded more eager to make his way to the midwest: “I had a great time there actually,” Terry said of his workout with the Bulls. “I really wanted to be there. It’s crazy, I called my agent immediately after, like, ‘that’s where I need to be.’ It’s great. They drafted me, and I’m so happy man.”
