The Chicago Bulls got the news they wanted on Friday morning.
Zach LaVine officially committed to returning to the franchise on a five-year, $215.2 million max contract, and he told Chicago in one of the best ways possible.
Take a look:
If you’re unaware, that is the famous scene from Wolf of Wall Street where Leonardo Dicaprio’s character, Jordan Belfort, let’s his corrupt company know he isn’t … well … “f—ing leaving.”
I’m glad it appears Zach LaVine is that passionate about staying with the franchise where he grew into the All-Star players we see today. The only question now is whether or not he plans to keep growing alongside this current core. It likely means absolutely nothing … but Nikola Vucevic nor Coby White made an appearance in the clip above? Hmmmmm. Time to overthink a silly meme!
