The Chicago Bulls jerseys will look a little bit different this season.
On Tuesday, the team officially announced that the Chicago-based Motorola has taken over as the franchise’s jersey patch partner. The announcement comes after several years of Zenni Optical holding the position.
You can see how the new logo will look below:
According to NBC Sports Chicago’s Rob Schaefer, the two sides have also agreed on a multi-year contract.
The Chicago Bulls have joined the Indiana Pacers and Milwaukee Bucks as partners with the mobile brand. Brooklyn also used to sport the recognizable “M” before moving onto a deal with WeBull.
As far as jersey advertisements go, Motorola’s logo is modest enough that it doesn’t distract the eye from the franchise’s iconic look. Could the circle be a tiny bit smaller? Sure. But I think it blends in for the most part (especially on the black and white jerseys), and I’m sure we’ll all get used to it in no time.
