James Harden can still put up huge numbers. I know this. Last night for the 76ers’ opener, he dropped 35 points on the Celtics, shooting 64% from the field, including 55% on threes. So I’m not taking any BROAD swipes here.
But this play. This is some of the funniest stuff I’ve seen in a long time:
The shimmy. It was the shimmy that sent me. So much confidence. And then it’s not just that he missed. It’s that it was incredibly not close. Look at this view of just how bad the shot was:
Big Nick Young vibes there. At least Harden didn’t walk away as his shot was falling harmlessly to the court? Still pretty bad, though.
