Ayo Dosunmu is a true Chicagoan.
The Chicago Bulls’ starting point continued to cement himself as a fan favorite during Wednesday’s battle with the Milwaukee Bucks. In the 1st quarter after a steal by Grayson Allen, Dosunmu turned on the jets in transition. As the Bucks’ most evil player rose for the layup, a sneaky Dosunmu took off behind him for a beautifully well-timed swat.

I mean, seriously, frame this photo immediately.
Dosunmu’s block was the exclamation point on a well-rounded start. Midway through the 2nd quarter, he had a couple of strong drives to the rim, a couple of savvy passes, and one additional block. His strong individual start is a big reason why the Bulls remain in a close contest.
Also, if that block wasn’t good enough, Patrick Williams joined the club. After the Bucks found Giannis with a baseball pass underneath the rim, Williams was ready to meet him for the epic block.
It’s great to see the Bulls’ youngsters make a big impact so early in the game. Now, can they keep it up?
