CHICAGO’S OWN JUST DID THAT!!!
After playing his fewest minutes of the season on Tuesday night against the Miami Heat, Ayo Dosunmu came up with the biggest shot of his career against the Atlanta Hawks.
With the Bulls in a position to steal the game with 4.0 seconds left, the second-year guard inbounded the ball to DeMar DeRozan. Turning around for the game-winning attempt on the baseline, the ball missed the rim but quickly found itself in Dosunmu’s lap. The Bulls’ youngster then beat the buzzer.
Watch the madness below:
I mean, seriously, go back and watch how far Dosunmu had to travel to put himself in a position to secure that rebound. That’s what winning players do.
What a truly amazing moment for the hometown kid. The Bulls have now won two-straight games after their disastrous loss to the Minnesota Timberwolves. Is it the start of the turnaround they need? I’m not ready to go there just yet, but I can’t deny that moments like these can build some real momentum.
