DEMAR DEROZAN HAS ICE IN HIS VEINS!
The King of the 4th made his heroic return on Friday night in a clutch victory over the New York Knicks. After Jalen Brunson missed both free throws, the Chicago Bulls had the ball in their hands with just 6.0 seconds to go. Billy Donovan called a timeout to advance the ball, which led to Ayo Dosunmu inbounding the ball to the Bulls’ most cut-throat player. DeRozan took a couple of dribbles before pulling up for a famous midrange jumper on Quentin Grimes.
To no surprise, he sunk it AND drew the foul with just 0.4 left on the clock.
The Chicago Bulls have now won three-straight games after their disastrous loss to the Minnesota Timberwolves. I keep saying it, but it’s going to have to take a lot more for me to be fully convinced that this team has turned things around. However, this is a great start, and there is no question this team is playing with *A LOT* more heart than what we saw earlier this year.
