Alex Caruso Upgraded to “Probable” for Matchup with Pistons, Patrick Williams “Questionable”
Alex Caruso is close to making his return.
The NBA’s official injury report lists Caruso as “probable” for the Bulls’ matchup with the Detroit Pistons on Friday night. Caruso has missed the team’s last three games due to a concussion and shoulder sprain that he suffered after a collision during the team’s battle with Atlanta last week.
The Caruso news comes one day after the Bulls were able to welcome back Javonte Green, who was forced to miss five-straight games with a knee injury. While the Bulls have been able to string together four wins in five games mostly without these two, there is no question this will still provide their defense with a much-needed boost.
Despite the return of these two, however, we can’t necessarily call this a healthy Bulls team. Patrick Williams (clavicle) and Coby White (knee) are both now considered “questionable” for tomorrow’s game with separate injuries. Two of the team’s better 3-point shooters this season, missing either could prove to be a problem.
Derrick Jones Jr. is also considered “questionable” after missing the previous four games, which is an upgrade from where he stood heading into last night’s battle.
