Since Joel Embiid is 12-0 against the Bulls, I’d normally chalk this up as a loss before the ball was even tipped. But the big man isn’t playing tonight, folks, so my optimism is falsely high!

What to Watch For …
- Similar to the Nets games, the rebounding department could be huge for Chicago tonight. Philly has the 2nd-worst REB% in the NBA and will be missing their top rebounder (Embiid). This should give Vucevic another opportunity to make his presence felt earlier, especially as Philly is forced to play small as they head into their bench.
- Speaking of that bench, whether it’s Georges Niang, De’Anthony Melton, or Shake Milton, the 76ers do have three reserves who are shooting 37.0 percent or better from long range. Not to mention, both Maxey and Harris are shooting 38 percent or better in the starting lineup, so the Bulls better be ready to close out on shooters tonight.
- No Javonte Green could spell trouble tonight, and ditto if Caruso isn’t given the green light. Both Harden and Maxey will likely have free reign with Embiid on the sideline, so the Bulls’ perimeter defense is going to have to be clean to pull off this victory.
