A United Center Strike May Jeopardize Upcoming Bulls, Blackhawks Games
According to a report from ABC 7 in Chicago on Wednesday morning, the concessions workers at the United Center voted “overwhelmingly” in favor of authorizing a strike.
The report says the concessions workers have been without a formal contract for three years and want to make more money. They work with the United Center through Levy.
This creates a complicated situation for the Bulls, whose next game is on Thursday night when the Charlotte Hornets are in town. The Blackhawks’ next home game is on Tuesday, Feb. 7 so they have some time to figure things out.
