DeMar DeRozan is Available Tonight After One-Game Absence
The Chicago Bulls’ leading scorer will return tonight after having to sit out Tuesday’s loss to the Memphis Grizzlies. DeRozan had been dealing with right hip soreness, forcing him to sit out just his fourth game of the season.
DeRozan’s return will come on the same day the Chicago Bulls failed to do anything at the trade deadline. Executive VP of basketball operations Arturas Karnisovas stressed in his post-deadline press conference that winning remained the goal and that he does expect this pre-existing core could make the playoffs.
Well, for that to be the case, he’s going to have to hope his one 2023 All-Star can stay healthy and continue to promote better chemistry around Zach LaVine and Nikola Vucevic. The Bulls are currently two games back of .500, and they have an unexpected opportunity to get the win tonight in Brooklyn after the Nets made some dramatic roster changes.
