Michael Jordan Makes Largest-Ever Donation to Make-A-Wish for His 60th Birthday
Michael Jordan is celebrating his birthday in true GOAT fashion.
As the Chicago Bulls legend prepares to turn 60 on Feb. 17, he has made a massive donation to the Make-A-Wish foundation. According to the Associated Press, Jordan has given the organization $10 million, marking the largest-ever individual donation in Make-A-Wish history.
“For the past 34 years, it’s been an honor to partner with Make-A-Wish and help bring a smile and happiness to so many kids,” Jordan said in a news release shared with the AP. “Witnessing their strength and resilience during such a tough time in their lives has truly been an inspiration.”
This is just one of several significant donations Jordan has announced in recent years. In 2020, he and those at Jordan Brand committed to investing $100 million in organizations fighting racial inequality over the next 10 years. He also put $10 million toward building two new medical clinics in his home state of North Carolina back in 2021.
