Rising Stars Pre-Gamin’: Broadcast Info, Rosters and Coaches, New Format, Thread
The Rising Stars event might be turning into one of the best of All-Star Weekend. Not only does it feel like there is more high-end young talent than ever before in the NBA, but the recently revamped style has made for a really intriguing competition.
Even better, Ayo Dosunmu was added to the roster as a last-second injury replacement! This will be Dosunmu’s second-straight year playing in the game, and he’s ended up on quite the fitting team (Deron Williams is a fellow Illini legend).
Cook those rooks, Ayo!

New Format
In case you might be unfamiliar, here is how the new format works.
The four coaches have already been tasked with drafting their teams. This was live-streamed on the NBA app earlier this month. Now, the four squads will compete in a mini-tournament, with Team A playing Team B and Team C playing Team D. Each of those two games will be played to a target score of 40.
The winner of each of those contests will then move on to Game 3, which is considered the championship game. This matchup will be the first to 25 points.
I can’t wait for Ayo to score all 25 points in the championship!
