Uh, Was Chris Paul Taking Swings at Patrick Beverley Mid-Game?

Chicago Bulls

The Chris Paul-Patrick Beverley beef is nothing new.

Whether it be Beverley shoving Paul in the playoffs and getting ejected, Beverley publically calling out Paul’s defense, or Beverley hitting Paul with a “too small” celebration … the current Bulls guard has made his disdain for the future HOFer abundantly clear. Now, in the latest episode, Beverley and Paul met for the first time in Chicago … and it didn’t take long to get ugly.

During the 2nd quarter of Friday night’s game, Paul and Beverley could be seen battling in the paint. As Beverley attempted to box out Paul, the Suns’ point guard could be seen swiping at Beverley’s torso. After one shove in the back, Paul appears to hit Beverley in the stomach once. Then, moments later, Paul stuck Beverley again with what looked to be a closed fist.

Take a look for yourself in the videos below:

Obviously, Beverley seemed to be fine, but there is no denying that it looked like Paul was trying to get some shots in. I guess we’ll see if Beverley says anything about it after the game. If one thing is for sure, we know he isn’t afraid to speak his mind.

The saga continues!
