Alex Caruso Now Questionable for Tonight’s Matchup with Kings’ Top-Ranked Offense

Chicago Bulls

Alex Caruso is at risk of missing tonight’s battle with the Sacramento Kings.

According to the latest NBA official injury report, Caruso is “questionable” with an illness. Appearing back in the starting lineup for seven of the Bulls’ eight games since the All-Star break, Caruso has been a pivotal piece to their recent 5-3 run. The tandem of him and Beverley has helped Chicago put together one of the best five-man combinations of the past few weeks, so much so that the Bulls have held a top-3 net rating over the past 10 games.

The Sacramento Kings currently rank 3rd in the Western Conference behind the Denver Nuggets and Memphis Grizzlies. They hold the single-best offense in the NBA and shoot roughly 50.0 percent from the field per game. With a potential All-NBA guard in De’Aaron Fox, Caruso’s services could be desperately needed for the Bulls to keep this one competitive.

Let’s hope the Bulls’ best defensive player is feeling better by game time.
