The Chicago Bulls had some injury report updates before tonight’s game.
Alex Caruso will suit up after missing Monday’s game with the Clippers, head coach Billy Donovan informed reporters before the game. Caruso has been dealing with a foot injury for several weeks and came into the day as “questionable.”
As Caruso returns, however, backup big man Andre Drummond will sit out. Despite the latest injury report listing Drummond as “questionable” due to personal reasons, NBC Sports Chicago’s K.C. Johnson shared that Drummond is expected to miss this matchup versus his former team.
Drummond was a big part of the Bulls’ victory over the Lakers this past weekend. He scored 12 points off the bench to go along with 8 rebounds and 2 steals. The physicality he provided while guarding Anthony Davis was part of the reason why the Bulls’ bench was able to take control of the game when they checked in.
This news on Drummond comes a little over 24 hours after the big man also announced that he would be deleting all social media from his phone. He also shared that he would change his number. It’s unclear right now exactly what’s going on with him, but that also isn’t really any of our business. I just wish him the best and hope he takes whatever time he needs to figure things out.
Get well soon, Drummond.
