Alex Caruso OUT for Tonight’s Game Against the Milwaukee Bucks
The Chicago Bulls will be without Alex Caruso as they try to grab their third win over the Milwaukee Bucks this season.
According to the latest official injury report, Caruso is out due to injury management for his left foot soreness. The Bulls have made clear multiple times in recent weeks that Caruso would play through this injury for the remainder of the season. With a Play-In Tournament now clinched, it’s not too big of a shock that they’re holding him out of the backend of a back-to-back.
Having said that, the absence of Caruso undoubtedly feels like a big deal tonight. Whether it be on Jrue Holiday or Khris Middleton, the Bulls could surely use his on-ball defense to try to slow down an offense that has ranked 5th-best since the All-Star break. We saw how easily the Hawks were able to penetrate the Bulls’ defense and get to the rim with Caruso dealing with foul trouble last night. If the Hawks can make it look easy, there are certainly concerns about what Milwaukee could do.
On the other side of things, the Bucks will be without two shooters tonight, Grayson Allen and Pat Connuaghton. Giannis Antetnokounmpo is also listed as probable with knee soreness.
