*Diar* DeRozan Ruled OUT for Friday’s Matchup with Miami

Diar DeRozan has been ruled OUT for Friday night’s game in Miami.

Despite her legendary performance in the Bulls’ 19-point comeback victory over the Toronto Raptors, the youngster is expected to miss the team’s second Play-In Tournament matchup with the Miami Heat. According to her father, DeMar, she is currently dealing with a “school” issue and is out indefinitely.

“No. She’s got to go back to school,” DeMar said when asked about Diar’s status.

It turns out that Diar’s blood-curdling scream wasn’t even supposed to be in the arena initially. DeMar told reporters after the Bulls win that his daughter was persistent about joining him on the team’s road trip. After the Ratpors proceeded to shoot 50 percent from the free throw line in the shadow of her screeches, DeMar admitted he was glad she pressured him into going.

“I almost said no because she’s in school back home. She kept asking, she was just adamant about coming in support and I just said, ‘all right, you can miss one day of school and come to a school.’ I’m glad I did. I owe her some money for sure,” DeRozan said.

If you happened to miss the performance, don’t worry! The highlight reel is out and it’s glorious.

Give it a watch (and cover your ears).

I’m hoping Diar at least tries out the puppy dog eyes and pouting lip to see if she can convince the medical staff (aka her father) to let her play. But it’s not looking good.

BOOOOO, SCHOOL!
