Nikola Jokic Just Got T’d Up for Shoving the Phoenix Suns’ New Owner
Things just got heated in Phoenix!
During the 2nd quarter of Sunday night’s game, the Suns lost the ball out of bounce. The organization’s newest owner, Mat Ishbia, ended up with the basketball in his hands, which the Denver Nuggets’ Nikola Jokic didn’t seem to like. Not only did he end up running up to try to grab the basketball out of his hands, but Jokic went on to give Ishbia a slight shove.

Did Ishbia channel the former player in him and sell the contact a bit? Sure. But that’s still not something you see very often!
The question now is whether a technical is Jokic’s only punishment. I’m sure Adam Silver’s office will take a closer look at this after the game. And the decision will undoubtedly be a major one with the series headed back to Denver next.
