The Bulls, Blackhawks, Bears, Cubs, and White Sox will continue their group effort to fight gun violence in Chicago.
The five major sports teams announced their Chicago Sports Alliance has pledged to provide financial support for five organizations. The group has been around for six years and will distribute a total of $1.5 million in grants this year, per a press release shared by WGN’s Larry Hawley.

As frustrating as Chicago sports teams tend to make us, this is truly what it’s all about. Each organization has such a massive reach, and it’s great to see them band together for the betterment of the community we all love and share.
