UPDATE: The Chicago Bulls unveiled their starting lineup, and Zach LaVine is set to start. The news comes after the team shared that LaVine would be a gametime decision due to back spasms.
We’ll still want to keep an eye out for how many minutes Billy Donovan lets LaVine play. He clocked over 38 minutes in the OT victory less than 24 hours ago, so taking it easy with him may be the best approach.

Set to tip off their first road game of the season in a little over an hour, the Chicago Bulls have announced that Zach LaVine will be a gametime decision.
The two-time All-Star could be seen grimacing at times during Friday night’s back-and-forth game against the Raptors. He came out of halftime to warm up with a wrap on his back before playing out the rest of the game. Afterward, Zach LaVine told reporters that he was dealing with back stiffness, and the Bulls ended up designating him as probable earlier this morning with back spasms.
The back can be a pesky thing, so it’s not too shocking that the Bulls have suddenly changed their tune. Not to mention, LaVine finished an OT game and played nearly 40 minutes less than 24 hours ago. To help avoid any long-term issues, it might be best to let LaVine sit.
We’ll keep you updated.
