A lot has changed for the 2024-25 Chicago Bulls, but I tend to believe the conversation around Nikola Vucevic will remain the same.
Fans have grown frustrated with the big man over the years for a multitude of reasons. While there is a world where he looks better with lower expectations this season, I tend to believe the sense of urgency for something new in that position will remain sky-high. After all, the $20.0 million man doesn’t provide much for a franchise that is looking toward the future. All it will take is a solid Jalen Smith game or two for the social media pitchforks to come out.
On Tuesday, I wrote a little more about the odd place Nikola Vucevic is in at this point in his career.
- Dalen Terry shared a behind-the-scenes look at his basketball camp in Arizona. The video uploaded to Instagram shows the 22-year-old interacting with campers, which appears to be right up his alley. For as much as Terry still has to prove on the court, he continues to show that he’s a pretty great dude off it.
- NBA 2K announced that insider Shams Charania will be featured in the newest version of the game. I can’t wait to make him tweet the Zach LaVine and Nikola Vucevic trade for Anthony Edwards! That is going to break Fake Twitter!
- Basketball trainer Johnny Stephene continues to give us some great Coby White content on Instagram! I know we’ve talked about it ad nauseam, but White’s improved handles might be the biggest reason why we’ve seen him reach new heights. He used to play primarily at one speed. And while his quickness is undoubtedly a special skill, we’ve known since college that his scoring arsenal has the potential to be extremely deep. White has a pure shooting stroke and strong finishing instincts. By tightening his ball-handling, he’s only creating more opportunities for himself to put those skills to use.
- According to Statmuse, Coby White – NOT ZACH LAVINE – is the winningest player on the Chicago Bulls over the last five years. Ouch.
- *laughs while shedding a single tear*
- So according to internet rumors and a recent post by the woman herself, Megan Thee Stallion is dating veteran forward Torrey Craig. We’ll see how long this lasts. Nothing tests a relationship more than sitting courtside at the United Center for the 25-57 Chicago Bulls!
- Sounds good to me!
- Um … listen?
