Don’t look now, but Reebok is making a comeback in Chicago!
Matas Buzelis is officially on board with Reebok after inking a multi-year endorsement deal. Buzelis joins fellow Chicago basketball rookie Angel Reese with Reebok, as a part of their comeback into the basketball scene under President of Basketball Operations Shaquille O’Neal.
Matas Buzelis Joins Reebok
After years out of the limelight, Reebok is making an attempt at a comeback in a big way.
Buzelis is joining not only Angel Reese, but also Lexie Brown of the Los Angeles Sparks, five-star prospect Nick Ament (who is currently the fourth-ranked prospect in the 2025 college basketball recruiting class according to 247 Sports), and G League prospect Dink Pate.
Clearly, Reebok is making an attempt to get in on the ground floor with the next wave of stars in basketball, and Buzelis is part of that plan for them.
It’s cool to see Reebok making a bit of a comeback, and having a pair of legends tied to their brand can only help. As mentioned, Shaq is on board as the brand’s head of basketball operations. In addition, they are still tied to Allen Iverson, who has been Reebok’s biggest name in the basketball space since the early 2000s.
Buzelis mentioned how cool it was to be tied to a pair of NBA legends after agreeing to the deal.
It’s cool to be part of the same brand as Shaq and AI. Those guys have done so much for the game, so being able to work with a brand that’s connected to them so deeply is something I’m proud of. It’s a great feeling.

So Chicago, if you aren’t already, it may be time to get back on board with Reebok if two of the city’s biggest current stars are repping the brand!
