What To Watch For …
- Ivica Zubac will miss his first game of the season tonight for the Los Angeles Clippers. The big man sits fourth in rebounds per game this season, and he has also averaged a career-high 15.0 points per game. With him out of the starting lineup, Nikola Vucevic will have a huge opportunity to leave his mark. The backup options for LA are Mo Bamba and Kai Jones – two players Vucevic should be able to overpower in the post.
- As a team, the Clippers don’t necessarily get to the free throw line a ridiculous amount, but James Harden still averages nearly 7.0 attempts per game. He will undoubtedly give this Bulls’ backcourt fits off the dribble and keeping him away from the charity stripe needs to be a priority. The Bulls allowed Portland to shoot 21 free throw attempts in the second half alone last night. They simply can’t afford to play similarly reckless defense against this crafty Clippers team.
