Less than a month away from All-Star Weekend in San Francisco, the NBA has officially announced the 2024-25 All-Star starters.
TNT’s Inside the NBA crew did the honors ahead of their Thursday night doubleheader, which features the Miami Heat visiting the Milwaukee Bucks and the Boston Celtics battling the Los Angeles Lakers. To no surprise, both games will feature All-Star starters.
Giannis Antetokounmpo will make his ninth-straight All-Star appearance and finished with the single-most votes in the Eastern Conference. Jayson Tatum also cracked the starting lineup yet again. The Celtics’ forward and reigning NBA champion will make his sixth-straight All-Star appearance.
The other starter on display tonight will be none other than LeBron James. While he shockingly didn’t lead the way in fan voting in total Western Conference votes, it is no surprise that he will headline the roster and make his 21st consecutive start at the big game.
The NBA All-Star Game will be held on Feb. 16 at the Chase Center in San Francisco. For the first time ever, the format will consist of a four-team, single-elimination tournament, which you can read more about here. The league will announce the rest of the All-Star rosters next week, which will be decided by the NBA head coaches.
