If you’re looking for a fantasy baseball league to play in this year, the Cublogoverse is giving you a few great options. First up, at A League of Her Own, there are a few leagues:
Big Boys League: This is the league for people who like to read stat columns and box scores and lean more towards embracing SABR than fighting against it. But don’t be intimidated. I played in this league last year and got killed, but it was lots of fun.
Middling League: This is for all the serious baseball fans out there that don’t have time to read BP every day but still know their way around a box score. You might know what WHIP VORP are, but some of the other stat categories leave you scratching your head. You’ll be competitive, but not obsessive about your team. I’ll probably wind up in this league this season.
Beer Pong: This is for the crowd that loves baseball, but loves fun more. I think most of the beer pong league last season forgot they were in a league by the ASB, so this could be a serious competitive advantage.
And View from the Bleachers (unretired!) is throwing down the gauntlet, Rotisserie-style.
