I am not trying to be a jerk, but everyone is writing this game up as “Kevin Hart has great first outing, Cubs fail to provide offense for him,” and that’s bogus. Yes, he gave up but one earned run. But also allowed nine baserunners in five innings is not “great.” It’s not even acceptable. So giving up just one run, in this case, was more due to luck than Hart’s pitching. Again, not to be a jerk.
