will call up uber-prospect Starlin Castro. He’ll likely take over the
starting shortstop duties in short order, with Ryan Theriot moving
over to second base.
If the Cubs start winning, you can be assured that this will be the
move credited with moving the needle just enough to turn losers into
winners. In reality, if the Cubs start winning it will be because
Aramis Ramirez and Derrek Lee start hitting – but I’m not here to poop
on a good story.
