Among the bullpen options the Cubs are considering is a former target, Jason Frasor, who last week accepted the Blue Jays’ offer of salary arbitration. He made $2.65 million last year, and will probably push past $4 million in 2011 after his second consecutive solid season, where he put up a 3.68 ERA and a 1.382 WHIP in 63.2 innings.
It’s unclear what it would take to get Frasor, but it’s possible it might not be much, if the Blue Jays were hoping Frasor would not accept arbitration.
