The Draft once again dominated the discussion today, but there IS a game tonight, against the Brewers. The Cubs’ lineup is once again “the one I like,” but with Steve Clevenger and Ian Stewart flip-flopping at six and eight. Might even be better that way, though it’s weird to conceive of Stewart as a number 8 hitter.
I’m bitter about seeing the Cubs return to Miller Park, because that’s where I feel like their season was derailed, during a late Friday night marathon game in which the magically came back, only to lose spectacularly. It may have been the craziest, most depressing game I’ve ever watched (outside of the playoffs).
