Four wins in a row? Break up the Cubs! …
Tonight’s game is a tale of a couple pitchers who were sent to the minors after struggling, and are trying to re-establish themselves in the majors. It’s been a mixed bag so far for Jurrjens, and we’ll see about Volstad.
Geovany Soto sits again. I know Clevenger is solid, but can the Cubs really afford (from a hoped-for-trade perspective) to turn this thing into a platoon? Or is Soto feeling some ill effects of his knee?
It’s raining in Atlanta, by the way. Not sure whether it will impact the start time.
