If the Cubs can hold the Brewers to single digits tonight, I suppose that’s a moral victory after last night’s 9th inning.
In a roster move, the Cubs have activated reliever Blake Parker – he of the elbow stress reaction that is currently plaguing Matt Garza – from the 60-day disabled list, and have designated reliever Alex Hinshaw – he of the three home runs given up last night – for assignment. Hinshaw didn’t get much of an audition with the Cubs, but I guess they saw what they needed to see last night.
