This week dig into Spring Training with the guy who knows Cubs Spring Training as well as anyone: Tim Sheridan, the voice of the Cubs in Mesa (he’s the PA announcer for games at HoHoKam), and the man behind Boys of Spring. Tim gives you a great sense of what it’s been like to be around for Spring Training with the Cubs for 30 years, what happens when a new sheriff comes to town, and how the Cubs can use his services for pranks.
We also talk about Matt Garza’s injury and the implications thereof, the Tony Campana trade (and what it says about the fan base), Jorge Soler’s batting practice shows and what they mean, and THE BUNT TOURNEY, COMPLETE WITH FAKE SOUND EFFECTS!
