The Cubs will try to win their first series of the year – in the actual first series of the year, as opposed to some random May series – behind Travis Wood. The temperatures should be a touch better today than they were last night, so, maybe that will somehow disproportionately help the Cubs.
The regular lineup is back to face James McDonald, save for Welington Castillo, who gets a regular day off. Hopefully Dioner Navarro’s hot Spring carries over.
