Think of it this way: you get 365 days of free content from me, and in return, I ask only that you sign up for a free, cash-winning fantasy baseball contest. Sounds fair to me.
Ok. So what is the contest?
It’s a one-day fantasy baseball showdown (and I say showdown, because you better believe I’m playing, too) based on MLB games this Friday, April 12. It’s not like a whole season of fantasy baseball, and you don’t even have to understand fantasy baseball to enjoy playing (for the record, I don’t play fantasy baseball).
Here’s how you play: First, sign up for free at DraftStreet. It’s easy –  you just “create an account.” Then, “join the league,” and put together your team. You can do it all from that link there.
This free contest will be salary-cap style drafting where everyone tries to assemble the best team out of the available players. You will have a $100,000 budget to build a team of 12 players consisting of the following: Catcher, 1B, 2B, 3B, SS, 3 OF, 1 Utility, 2 SP, and 1P. Each MLB player has been assigned a price, so you can creatively build your roster with stars and cheapies, or go for a balanced approach. You can adjust your roster up until the contest starts on Friday April 12th at 1:20 CT/2:20 ET at which time your rosters will lock and the Live Scoreboard will be available.
The contest runs on Friday using Friday’s games, so you just have to sign up and have your team set by then.

*Note, because of the exclusivity, only folks who sign up for DraftStreet via Bleacher Nation (either this year or last year) can participate in this particular contest. If you signed up for DraftStreet via another method (another site, for example), you can still participate in a free contest, it just won’t be this particular free one. You’ll see what I mean when you sign in.
