UPDATE: The game’s been postponed. No makeup information announced yet, but it’s going to have to be a shared off day or an attempted double-header tomorrow.
If a Carlos Zambrano appearance wasn’t enough to throw tonight’s game off, the weather might be. It is pouring and nasty in Chicago right now, and few expect the game to get off on time, if at all. We’ll keep an eye on it. MLB’s going to be keen on getting this one in, given that these two teams don’t play again this year after tomorrow.
If the game does go off, The Stache will try to make it three straight awesome starts to kick off the season. Fill-in starter Justin Grimm is on the other side, and is now on Cy Young Watch.
