The Cubs can lock up a series win today by taking down the Marlins for the third straight day. It would also be their first three-game winning streak since … uh … I would actually have to check.
Travis Wood is looking to add a fifth consecutive great start to his 2013 season. They can’t all be gems, but you’d certainly hope he could do it against this team in this ballpark.
Austin Kearns, who still plays baseball, is going to have a good game today. He always does against the Cubs, however far from the promise of his early career he has drifted.
