It’s trade season, and there are actual trades to discuss! Well, one completed one, and one that seems to be on its way to becoming a reality.
This week, Sahadev and I talk about the Matt Garza trade and the players the Cubs got back. We dig into Alfonso Soriano’s value and legacy, as well as the obvious trade rumor stuff.
We heap generous praise on Junior Lake, and then dump buckets and buckets of aural water on his hot start. We also get in a brief word on City Council’s approval of the Wrigley Field renovation plan, and what it means (and doesn’t mean) for the process.
You also learn that Sahadev hates enthusiasm within the first two minutes.
