Bleacher Nation’s fantasy baseball partner DraftStreet isn’t fooling around with this first week of baseball. They’re running a one-day fantasy baseball contest tomorrow, based on tomorrow’s games, with a cash prize pool of $100,000. First place gets a whopping $20,000, and the next 749 people get paid.
The league costs only $22 to play, and you can sign up here.
As a bonus? If you’re a first-timer, DraftStreet will match you with bonus money for whatever you deposit (up to $200). I kind of wish I was a first-timer …
(For those who haven’t done these contests before, they’re simple and fun: you have $100,000 to spend on your roster, selecting players from Friday’s MLB games. Want Mike Trout? No problem, but he’s gonna take up a big chunk of that $100,000 salary cap. There’s absolutely nothing to lose and it takes 5 minutes to build a team. You can adjust your roster up until the contest starts on Friday, April 4 at 12pm CT, at which time your rosters will lock and the Live Scoreboard will be available.)
So, sign up here for the $100,000 contest. Win a ton of money and then buy me a sandwich.
*Note: residents of some States are not eligible to play, so if you’re blocked out for that reason, my most humble apologies.
