No illusions about a series win in this one, as the Reds took off mid-game and never looked back.
Carlos Villanueva had some good stuff working the first two times through the order, but, as is so often the case with guys like Villanueva (haven’t quite ever broken through as a regular starter), the third time through really bit him (well, and the bottom third of the second time through, too).
The bats did they’re usual get-guys-on-don’t-get-them-in thing, which would have been more frustrating if the Reds hadn’t scored eight.
