The Cubs got three two-out runs in the first inning today off of Matt Garza, and that was all the scoring there was today.
Most of the credit for that belongs to Edwin Jackson, who was flat-out dominant today. We just said it a couple weeks ago, but *this* was his best start as a Cub. Not only did he shut out the Brewers on the scoresheet and give up just four hits and one walk over seven innings, but he struck out eleven, and his stuff looked fantastic.
