The Chicago Cubs pulled off a sweep for the first time in a very long time, and they did it on the night of the draft, which makes it doubly neat.
Travis Wood did as Travis Wood does – which is to say that he drove in three runs and hit a homer. Unfortunately he didn’t have his best command, walking five in five innings. The bullpen was solid again, outside of a two-run homer blip off of Justin Grimm.
Anthony Rizzo hit a homer about 800 feet, so that was cool.
