Chicago Cubs

miami marlins home run sculptureIt’s the Cubs versus that damn sculpture, man. I absolutely hate it, and absolutely love it at the same time. I love how much I hate it. And I really want someone to hit it tonight. The Cubs have at least two bats in the lineup capable of it – Anthony Rizzo and Mike Olt.

Jason Hammel will face the Marlins for the second time in a couple weeks, and it’ll be hard to top what he did last time at Wrigley: 7IP, 0R, 6H, 1BB, 8K.

Nate Schierholtz gets the night off in favor of Justin Ruggiano, who gets to do a little homecoming (he’s also been very hot).

Game Info

Miami Marlins (35-33) at Chicago Cubs (28-39), 6:10 CT on CSN.
