Good morning, friends!
The 2014 MLB Non-Waiver Trade Deadline is tomorrow afternoon at 3pm CT, and I will be blogging/tweeting/videoing/whatevering from now until a few hours after the deadline (in case there are bits to analyze in the final hours, and also because there’ll be a game going on). It’s 37 hours straight of blogging thanks to your generosity to Make-A-Wish. Hopefully there are plenty of rumors and trades to discuss and fill our time together.
37 hours. That means a day from now – a full day – I will still have 13 hours left. Hooray for crazy online stunts (for a good cause)!
You can expect to see a lot more content than usual around here, as well as video chats (news permitting) at 1pm CT today, 8pm CT today (during Cubs game), 2am CT on July 31 (oh yeah, late night!), and 12pm CT on July 31 (entering the home stretch, and probably feeling terrible). I will keep you apprised of whether that’s all happening and doable as the times approach.
Join in the fun on Twitter by using the #BNBlogathon hashtag.
More on what to expect here. Let the Blogathon begin …
… with a Happy Birthday to The Wife. Sorry that it always falls during the Blogathon, dear, but I hope you enjoy the shirt as a consolation:
Wife's birthday is tomorrow, which means it's always messed up by #BNBlogathon. Hopefully made up for it this year. pic.twitter.com/1OgUKSDJGa
